A Milestone for Nolan

Nolan can be propped up to a sitting position now without toppling over. He can sit anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes; depending on how awake he is, the sturdiness of the surface he is sitting on, or which certain sibling he is sitting next too (not naming names)!

Nolan 6 Months Old

Six months ago today, our bouncing baby boy was born! Nolan continues to warm our hearts in so many ways...

-He laughs when he cries.
-I predict he's going to be a thumb sucker, he never took to the pacifier.
-He discovered his toes last week.
-Today he watched his moving hand as if it were not part of his body.
-He screams like nothing I've heard from a baby before when he is really upset.
-Nolan loves watching Madelyn jump & run. He laughs hysterically at her.
-He patiently puts up with Ansley "loving" on him.
-Peek-a-boo is his favorite game.
-Nolan is always laughing or smiling.
-There is less hair on his head now than the day he was born.
-His hair is light blond with a dark brown patch at the nape of his neck.
-He is a big boy, already growing out of his 12 month clothes.
-When he sleeps, he snuggles a blanket to his cheek.

I am head over heals for Nolan! He has been the perfect addition to our growing family.

Goings On

Madelyn demonstrates her passion for animals & dinosaurs by making "parades", several times a day.

Here's my little Eskimos enjoying the snow. Nolan took a nap while the girls played outside. He loves to snuggle with blankets while he sleeps.
